This Privacy Policy explains how Wizius Careers (“Wizius”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit wiziuscareers.com, use our free tools, or enrol in our test-preparation and admissions-consulting services. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”), the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it (“DPDP Act”).
By using this website or submitting your information, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described here. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 8).

We do not ask for passwords, biometric information or health information. Where financial information is collected, it is limited to what is needed to process fees and is treated as sensitive personal data under the SPDI Rules.
2. Why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and offer counselling, demos and course information;
- To deliver the services you enrol in — classes, mocks, feedback, and preparing and submitting applications;
- To generate your assessment report and practice-test results, and (only with your permission) to show your first name and initial on the public leaderboard;
- To process payments, issue receipts and meet tax and accounting obligations;
- To evaluate job applications;
- To improve our website, content and teaching, using aggregated analytics;
- To send service updates and, if you have agreed, information about new batches and events. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time.
We process personal data only for these specified, lawful purposes and only to the extent necessary.
3. Children’s data
Many of our SAT, ACT and undergraduate students are under 18. Where a user is a child (below 18 years) we process personal data only with the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, as required by the DPDP Act. We do not track children for targeted advertising or carry out behavioural monitoring of children. Parents may contact us at any time to review, correct or erase their child’s data.
4. Who we share data with
- Universities and application portals — only the material you ask us to submit on your behalf, and only with your instruction;
- Service providers — hosting, e-mail, messaging, payment gateways and analytics providers who process data for us under confidentiality obligations;
- Authorities — where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a government agency.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Some providers may store data outside India; where this happens, we ensure the transfer is permitted under Indian law and that the data receives a comparable level of protection.
5. Cookies
We use a session cookie that is essential for forms and security, and — if enabled — analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) that help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; essential features such as forms may then not work.
6. Security
We follow reasonable security practices as required by Section 43A of the IT Act and the SPDI Rules, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls limited to authorised staff, password hashing, protected storage for uploaded documents, and regular backups. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India of a personal data breach as required by law.
7. How long we keep data
Enquiry and assessment data is kept for up to 24 months after your last interaction. Records of enrolled students are kept for the duration of the programme and up to 8 years afterwards to meet tax and legal obligations. Job applications are kept for 12 months. After these periods data is deleted or anonymised, unless the law requires longer retention.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected and updated;
- have your data erased when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out);
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and
- have your grievances addressed (see Section 9).
